Annual Parish Meeting

Tuesday 21st May 2019 – from 6 30 pm

By law, every English parish must have a parish meeting. It consists of the local government electors registered for the area  in which it is held and must take place between 1 March and 1 June.

It is convened by the Parish Council and is presided over by the Chairman of the Parish Council.

The meeting held in Walberton Parish is now called the Annual Parish Meeting and a notice asking for agenda items is posted on our notice boards about three weeks prior to the meeting. An agenda showing the time, date and venue is posted 7 days prior to the meeting.

Local organisations are invited to make presentations (maximum 2 minutes each) and there is always an open forum where members of the electorate may discuss any issue.

The next Annual Parish Meeting will be held on Tuesday 21st May 2019 from 6.30 pm in the Pavilion, The Street, Walberton

Please contact the clerk to request a presentation slot.
